Building a Cleaner and Safer Community Together We sweep fallen leaves to keep our surroundings clean and safe. Even small actions like this help prevent hazards and promote a healthier environment. We joined a tree-planting activity to help prevent floods and maintain fresh air. Planting trees is an investment for the next generation.   We separate biodegradable from non-biodegradable waste. Proper waste segregation reduces pollution and helps protect nature.   We properly place garbage sacks by the gate for collection. This simple habit helps maintain order and cleanliness in the community.

First Quarter Reflection

Image
My First Quarter Reflection  This first quarter has been a journey of adjustment, learning, and growth. When classes started, I wasn’t really that nervous about meeting my classmates because almost half of them had already been my classmates before. That familiarity made me feel comfortable right away, and I had no problems with my section at all. Everything feels good, and I get along well with everyone. I was also happy because some of my close friends became my classmates again. Back in Grade 9, I was separated from them, so it feels nice to be with them once more. Sadly, two of my other friends were separated from our class this year, and I miss them. Still, I’m thankful that I’m surrounded by familiar faces who make school feel more fun and less stressful.      I also had to adjust to having new teachers. At first, I worried that they might be too strict or hard to approach. But as the weeks passed, I realized that they are actually kind, approachable, a...

Letter For The President

Image
Dear President Marcos,     I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to you as a concerned citizen and a student who cares deeply about the future of our country. I am reaching out with a sincere hope that you will listen to the voice of the youth, who are the ones most affected by the decisions made today. I wish to humbly share my thoughts on the state of education in our country and why I believe it must be treated as a top priority.      Education is the foundation of progress. It shapes young minds, teaches values, and equips citizens with the knowledge and skills needed to face the challenges of a rapidly changing world. Yet, despite its importance, many students in the Philippines continue to face great difficulties. There are classrooms that are overcrowded, schools that lack essential learning materials, and young minds that struggle because quality education is still not accessible to everyone, especially in remote areas. These ch...

My Nutrion Month Experience

Image
My Nutrition Month Experience      During Nutrition Month, our section, Maxwell, experienced something really special and unforgettable. Our class was chosen to represent the entire school in a major contest that reached regional and national levels. Because of this, we formed a group called Maxwellness, made up of selected classmates who were good at singing, composing, and performing. They worked hard to prepare their original piece, and although the rest of us weren’t part of the actual performance, we gave our full support. Every single day, we heard them practice their song while we were in the classroom, whether before class, during breaks, or even after school. We got so used to their song that it got stuck in our heads, and it truly felt like we were part of their journey too.      Aside from the performances, there were also other exciting activities during Nutrition Month. One of them was the food fair, where each class prepar...

Growing My Antlers

Image
Growing My Antlers      The animal I want to be is a fawn. There is something about the way a fawn moves through the forest, quiet, careful, and soft-hearted, yet brave enough to keep walking even when the path is uncertain. That is how I want to feel most days. I am gentle but still learning to grow my own antlers, not to hurt anyone but to remind myself I am stronger than I appear. I try to step lightly through life, to notice small wonders, and to find peace even when the world feels noisy.      My family says I am more like a cat. They say this because I have been through a lot since I was little, surviving things I never even understood at the time. I have had moments when I was so close to danger, times when I almost did not make it, yet somehow I always land on my feet. They call it luck, like a cat with nine lives, but maybe it is more than luck. Maybe it is a quiet kind of resilience, the way life seems to tell me that I am mea...
