My Nutrion Month Experience

     My Nutrition Month Experience

During Nutrition Month, our section, Maxwell, experienced something really special and unforgettable. Our class was chosen to represent the entire school in a major contest that reached regional and national levels. Because of this, we formed a group called Maxwellness, made up of selected classmates who were good at singing, composing, and performing. They worked hard to prepare their original piece, and although the rest of us weren’t part of the actual performance, we gave our full support. Every single day, we heard them practice their song while we were in the classroom, whether before class, during breaks, or even after school. We got so used to their song that it got stuck in our heads, and it truly felt like we were part of their journey too.

Aside from the performances, there were also other exciting activities during Nutrition Month. One of them was the food fair, where each class prepared and sold healthy snacks. Our class sold spring rolls, and we all helped with setting up, promoting, and selling. Other sections offered their own nutritious food, and it became a fun and lively event where we not only enjoyed eating but also learned the importance of choosing healthy meals. There was also a jingle contest held at school. Our section didn’t join because we were already focused on representing the school, but we still showed up to support
Marconi, the section that did participate. The school was filled with excitement, and everyone showed school spirit by cheering for each other.

In the end, all the hard work of our classmates paid off. Maxwellness became champion at the division level, placed 8th in the regional level, and placed 3rd in the national level. When the results were announced, we were all so proud and happy. Even though only a few of our classmates performed, it truly felt like a victory for the whole section. This experience showed me that even if you’re not on stage, your support and encouragement matter. Being united, helping one another, and celebrating each other’s success made this Nutrition Month truly meaningful. All is well, Maxwell!
