Letter For The President

 Dear President Marcos,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to you as a concerned citizen and a student who cares deeply about the future of our country. I am reaching out with a sincere hope that you will listen to the voice of the youth, who are the ones most affected by the decisions made today. I wish to humbly share my thoughts on the state of education in our country and why I believe it must be treated as a top priority.

Education is the foundation of progress. It shapes young minds, teaches values, and equips citizens with the knowledge and skills needed to face the challenges of a rapidly changing world. Yet, despite its importance, many students in the Philippines continue to face great difficulties. There are classrooms that are overcrowded, schools that lack essential learning materials, and young minds that struggle because quality education is still not accessible to everyone, especially in remote areas. These challenges make it hard for students to reach their full potential and to dream of a brighter future.

I am asking, with all humility, that your administration prioritize education above many other concerns. While our nation faces numerous

challenges, I believe that addressing the needs of our schools and students will create long-lasting solutions for the country. If children are equipped with knowledge, creativity, and critical thinking, they will be able to solve other problems themselves. By investing in teachers, modern classrooms, learning materials, and programs that reach every corner of our nation, we can ensure that no Filipino child is left behind simply because of where they were born or the resources their family has.

I also wish to express a hope that our country treats its citizens in a way

that encourages them to serve and stay. If Filipinos are to dedicate themselves to building our nation, then they must be given reasons to stay here, reasons to believe in their country and its future. They must be supported, valued, and given opportunities so they can contribute meaningfully. Please do not let the youth and the hardworking citizens feel abandoned or ignored. Show us that our country cares, and we will serve it with loyalty and pride.

President Marcos, it is not too late to make a difference. Now is the time to become a leader who listens and acts, to guide our country toward a future where every child can learn, every citizen can thrive, and every community can grow. If you would listen and work together with us, we can find solutions and build a stronger Philippines. We are ready to help and to give our best, but we need the support and guidance of leaders who truly care.

I am pleading not only for myself and my classmates but also for every young Filipino who dreams of a better life. We want to learn, to grow, and to contribute to our communities and our country, yet the obstacles we face make this journey difficult. I ask that you consider the lives of the youth and see that education is not just another program, but the key to a brighter, more united Philippines.

Please help us by giving attention to the real issues that shape our future. Every student deserves a chance to learn, to dream, and to build a life that can help the country progress. By focusing on education and supporting your citizens, you are investing in the heart of the nation, the generation that will lead the Philippines tomorrow.

Thank you very much for taking the time to read my letter. I humbly hope that the voices of the youth will be heard and that education and the well-being of every Filipino will be treated with the importance they truly deserve.

Sincerely,

Iyer Xiam Fontessa Tabalina
