 My Third Quarter Experience


 
 This third quarter felt like a mix of learning and little adventures in every subject. In English, we worked on essays and analyzing texts, which helped me express my ideas better. In Mathematics, I really struggled, especially with permutations and probability, because I got confused and needed help to understand the steps. Science was easy for me, and I understood topics like gene expression, mutations, and adaptation quickly. In EsP, I reflected on values like respect for life and caring for the environment. In Araling Panlipunan, the lessons were also easy, like learning about gender issues and laws that protect people. In MAPEH, I enjoyed our hip-hop performance, but after that, I started getting lazy. In ICT, I learned basic coding and using online tools safely, which helped me improve my technical skills.


    Even though some subjects were easy, I struggled to keep up after our hip-hop performance and with so many excused classes. I got a little lazy and didn’t focus as much on other subjects. Managing assignments from different subjects was challenging when I wasn’t consistent, and sometimes I had to catch up at the last minute.


    To deal with these challenges, I asked for help when I didn’t understand Math and made a simple schedule to finish my tasks. Watching videos and reviewing notes helped me understand difficult topics. Taking short breaks helped me refocus and finish my work on time. This quarter taught me that even when some subjects are easy, effort and focus are important, and asking for help can make learning much easier.

Building a Cleaner and Safer Community Together We sweep fallen leaves to keep our surroundings clean and safe. Even small actions like this help prevent hazards and promote a healthier environment. We joined a tree-planting activity to help prevent floods and maintain fresh air. Planting trees is an investment for the next generation.   We separate biodegradable from non-biodegradable waste. Proper waste segregation reduces pollution and helps protect nature.   We properly place garbage sacks by the gate for collection. This simple habit helps maintain order and cleanliness in the community.

  My Experience During The Intramurals     The intramurals at Ilocos Sur National High School was actually pretty fun. It lasted for two whole days, and even though I didn’t join any events, I still enjoyed just being there and watching everything happen. The school felt more lively than usual because there were students everywhere, cheering, laughing, and running around from one game to another.      My friends and I spent most of our time going around and watching different sports. We started with basketball because that was where the loudest cheers were coming from. At first, I had no idea what was going on. I only knew that you get a score when you shoot the ball, but I didn’t know who gets a foul or why the referee kept blowing the whistle.
